Kiln It

Privacy policy

Kiln It privacy policy Last updated: 20 September 2026 Kiln It is a pottery studio organizer. The app does not send your studio records, photographs, customer details or usage activity to a server operated by us. It has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK or tracking service. Your records and photographs Pottery records, photographs, journals, glaze recipes and tests, firing logs, markets, sales, optional customer details, drafts and preferences are stored in the app's storage on your device. Kiln It also keeps local recovery copies. These copies remain on the same device; they do not protect against losing the device or deleting the app. Backups, exports and shared folders You choose whether to export a backup, inventory or sales spreadsheet, or market document, and where to save or share it. A complete studio backup includes your records and photographs, including archived pieces and unfinished drafts. Sales exports can include customer names and notes you entered. If you connect a shared studio folder in Files, Kiln It can automatically write updated complete studio backups into that folder as you work. A cloud storage provider may then sync those files to other devices or people who have access to the folder. The provider's practices and your sharing permissions govern those copies. Kiln It does not operate a server that receives them. Disconnecting stops new backup requests but does not delete files already saved there; a backup already in progress may finish. Exported files contain your studio information. Manage access and remove unwanted copies through Files or the service where you stored or shared them. Permissions and reminders Camera permission is used when you choose to photograph pottery. The system photo picker gives the app access to the images you select. Optional notifications provide local studio reminders; planned-check notifications can contain a piece's name and your next-action note. Their visibility depends on your iOS notification settings. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Retention and removal Archiving a piece keeps its photographs and history so you can restore it; archiving is not permanent deletion. Editing or removing information from the current studio does not necessarily erase earlier recovery copies or stored photo files. Kiln It retains originals needed for recovery and does not provide a control to permanently erase an individual archived piece and every earlier copy. Deleting the app from the device removes its local app data. Offloading the app is different and can keep its data. Files you exported or saved to a shared folder remain at their destinations until you remove them there. Device backups are controlled by your Apple backup settings and may retain earlier app data. Contact For support or privacy questions, use the contact information on the Kiln It support page: https://kiln-it.apphq.online/. Information you choose to send in a support message is separate from the studio data stored by the app; send only what is needed for your request.
